Carlson Craft selected as a LOUIE Awards Finalist
Carlson Craft has been named a finalist in the prestigious 75th Anniversary International Greeting Card Awards Competition, better known as the “LOUIE Awards.” Carlson Craft has been selected as a finalist in two categories.

 Thermography Picking  Posies TWS35998The finalist for the Deluxe Wedding Invitation Suite, Modern Printed category is Thermography Picking Posies. The vintage floral design on white paper sets a sweet tone with a tactile element of both digital and thermography printing. Submissions were blind-judged by a panel of industry experts on the criteria of originality, impact, design excellence, sendability and value. Judges included industry retailers, suppliers, artists, sales representatives, bloggers and press members.

Winners will be announced at this year’s LOUIE Awards gala, May 15 in New York City. All LOUIE finalists will be showcased at the Javits Center in New York City during the National Stationery Show® trade show – taking place May 15-18.

Launched by the Greeting Card Association in 1988, the LOUIE Awards recognize the most outstanding greeting cards, invitations and announcements. Named after Louis Prang – the German-born Boston lithographer credited with the birth of the U.S. Christmas card in the 1870s – the competition is open to all publishers of greeting cards, invitations and announcements, and attracts hundreds of entries annually.
